You lost your Android Smartphone. Don't worry you can find it with the help of Google. Google has announced a new tool that will help smartphone users to track their lost Android phones. Smartphone can be tracked on a map or ring them.If it can not be recovered user can remotely erase all the data on the phone. Google has informed that the service will be available later this month on devices running Android 2.2 or above. 

Smartphone users can use this service by logging into their Google Accounts. Google will also offer an Android app to allow users to track and manage their Android devices.

Android Device Manager, can quickly ring a linked phone at maximum volume so that it can be found even if it's been silenced, or locate it on a map. If phone can't be recovered, or has been stolen, you can quickly and securely erase all of the data on your device to keep your data.

Android Smartphone users can  install Android Device Manager or check if their handset is ready for the update by following these steps:
  1. Go to Settings in your android smartphone and choose the Security section and Device Administrators.
  2. If the service is available for your device, there will be a check box labeled Android Device Manager.
  3. If this check box is not labeled then you need to tick the check box and click the activate button.
  4. Now Android Device Manager will functional-able to your smartphone. This function will show up as an option in the Settings menu under Security and Device Administrators.
